WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?
Guests at our hotel and other individuals may provide Information to Imperial Hotel Gold Coast.
Imperial Hotel Gold Coast will not collect sensitive Information about you, such as your race, political beliefs, religion or health. However, this may be required where we are providing you with specialized services (such as access requirements for a disability)
We need this personal Information to provide you with our products or services so we can provide you with a broad range of Information about tourism, hospitality and services and assist in delivering a better service.
This information will be recorded by the hotel or business to which it is given and updated by the hotel or business when additional Information is supplied or upon request from you. The hotel's contact details are available when you obtain services from the hotel.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Imperial Hotel Gold Coast use the Personal Information collected to provide you with our services and to assist in making your experience with us a satisfying one. Information is also collected to establish and maintain proper business records.
Imperial Hotel Gold Coast may also use your personal information to notify you about new products, services or promotions in the tourism, hospitality or services industries from time to time.
Imperial Hotel Gold Coast's guests can make reservations for the hotel at any time and from anywhere in the world. Any personal information collected during booking will only be used to process your reservation.
Will your Personal Information be given to anyone else?
You should be aware that from time to time, Imperial Hotel Gold Coast might have interests in other companies in the tourism, hospitality, services or property development industry. Your personal Information may be transferred to these companies to promote the services and products that these companies offer. These companies can be contacted if you elect to stop receiving such Information at any time.
All Information collected by Imperial Hotel Gold Coast is only made available to those authorized individuals who need to handle that Information for the purposes outlined in this policy. In some circumstances, personal Information may also be disclosed outside Imperial Hotel.

ACCESS AND CORRECTION
You have the right to seek access to information that Imperial Hotel Gold Coast holds about you (although there are some exceptions). You also have the right to ask us to correct Information about you that needs to be more accurate, complete, and updated.
If you wish to exercise your right under the Privacy Act to seek access to the personal Information held by us, then please contact the hotel's Privacy Officer directly.
Please note that in the interests of protecting the privacy of all our customers, if you request details of any personal information held by us, we will need to identify you correctly. To do this, we may telephone you or require your current name and address (any former address that may assist in identification) and a copy of a form of identification such as a current driver's license or passport.
Unless you tell us otherwise, we will assume that your request relates to our current records about you. This will include the Personal Information about you that is stored in our databases and files. Generally, we will not charge you for the costs of providing access to our current records about you. Imperial Hotel Gold Coast may also store documents containing personal information in its archives for legal and administrative reasons. You may seek access to the records held by Imperial Hotel Gold Coast, which are not current records, but if you do so, we may charge you for the cost of providing access.
If you believe that the Personal Information about you is inaccurate, complete, or current, please provide our Privacy Officer with your request for correction (contact details are set out below). Any requests for correction will be dealt with promptly.
IS PERSONAL INFORMATION STORED SAFELY?
Reasonable steps are taken to ensure the security of personal information from such risks as loss or unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure.
Cancellation Policy – All cancellations except during peak periods must be advised at least 48 hours prior to Arrival. Cancellations within 48 hours of Arrival will incur a fee of one night's accommodation.
Between 22 December and 6 January annually, a Refundable deposit of the 1st Night Accommodation charge is required at the time of booking. Full Payment is required 21 days prior to Arrival and is Non-Refundable.
Cancellations within 21 days of Arrival will forfeit the total accommodation.
Early Departure Policy & No Show Policy - After check-in, should you shorten your scheduled departure date, an early departure fee of one night's accommodation will be incurred. In the case of a No Show, the hotel will charge a cost of one night's accommodation will be incurred.
Check-In Requirements - For the safety and security of our hotel, associates and valued guests, a valid credit card and photographic identification in the form of a driver's license or passport must be presented and may be photocopied upon check-in. Early arrival access to the pool area is not guaranteed.
Pre-Authorisation Policy - A minimum pre-authorization amount of $300.00 for hotel rooms and suites or $1,000.00 for condominiums, plus any remaining accommodation charges, will be deducted from the credit card provided. If a valid credit card cannot be produced upon check-in, the accommodation check-in will not be able to occur.
Family & Child Policies - All guests aged 12 and under are considered children at Imperial Hotel Gold Coast.
All guests aged 18 and under are considered minors and must be accompanied by a parent, step-parent or legal guardian. All other guests are considered adults.
Only in-house guests are permitted in the Water Salon. A responsible adult must supervise children at all times. The minimum age requirement for access to Spa at Imperial Hotel Gold Coast and to experience treatments is 16 years old.
Specials and Hotel Credit - Specials cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Hotel credit is not to be used towards accommodation rates and Boutique. All offers are subject to availability.
Discount package inclusions, such as but not limited to Luxury Escapes, are not valid on special event dates, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day & Melbourne Cup, unless otherwise stated. Public Holiday surcharges are additional.
Dress Code - It is a condition of entry applicable to visitors and guests that smart resort attire is always displayed throughout the hotel. Beach and swimwear, including board shorts, bikinis, singlets and rubber thongs, will not be permitted in the lobby, bars and restaurants after 5:00 pm.
No Pets Allowed - Except Trained Service Animals.
